RGH900-1 Prototype 5.1 Power Amplifier
Design rationale
The prototype RGH900-1 is physically huge (480w 180h 330d) to allow for monster side heat sinks. It is dead quiet as no fans are required.
As to that other kind of “dead” quiet, it will not cut-off on thermal even running into loads as low as 0.5 ohms!!

Design rationale
The brains in charge of the RGH900-1 brawn! Though we have been describing these units in the realm of Home Theatre, as to the other side of the coin, could you cope with it offering 170+170WRMS in Stereo mode (i.e. in complete isolation as the decoder board is totally powered down)?
Just because a unit’s purpose changes from “Stereo” to “Home Theatre”, REDGUM sees no reason to alter our quality expectations for these modes.
After all, our ears don’t hear that kind of semantic difference!
